Here are a few answers to my most frequently asked questions, hope they’re helpful. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions not answered here!
Q. What’s your process for custom work?
A. We’ll have an initial exploration by email, phone or video (whichever suits you best) to discuss your project, the scope and the start date. When it’s time for your project to start, I’ll begin with research & initial sketches, so that we can finalise before going to start on the final piece of work and potentially make any changes. Illustrations are generally completed by hand, I’ll make a high quality scan and carry out the work to digitise the art. If the art is going to be a surface pattern design, I’ll also do this technical work at the same time. Once the final art is completed, you’ll see a proof and then files are packaged to industry standard and sent out to you.
Q. How do I access your ready-to-go library of designs
A. Much of my work can be seen on Instagram. My ready-to-go work library is password protected, shows currently available work, and can be found here. If you’d like access, please complete the contact form and I’ll get back to you.
Q. How do I order from your ready-to-go work?
A. All work show has a unique reference number. Simply let me know via email which piece(s) you’re interested in, and I’ll create a licensing agreement. Please note any additional changes e.g. scale, colour must be communicated in advance and will be carried out prior to the completion of the contract.
Q. What are your rates for custom work?
A. All projects are different and all projects are priced accordingly. All work is hand rendered, and then digitised. I can provide an indicative price upon enquiry if you provide details of your needs. Please get in touch to discuss.
Q. When is the shop opening?
A. The shop will be opening in Summer 2021 and will offer art prints and paper goods, and fabric initially. I can’t wait!
Q. Will the shop offer wholesale?
A. Yes. If you’re a shop owner. Initially, minimum orders quantity will be low, as I’d like to sell to small independents as well as larger stores. Please contact me for more info on what’s coming up!
Q. What design software do you use?
A. I most often work in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and Procreate. These are all programmes I enjoy using and am knowledgable in.
Q. Do you offer any other services?
A. I am available for trend consultation, colour scheme development. I also build websites, but I have only a few spots per year for websites due to the time they take!
